Day One: Inspiration Lost

I've usually got so many ideas, lists of them really, that are clamoring in my mind, pushing their way froward, bursting forth to be written, but today, right now, just 16 minutes before I need to publish and post, I'm confused or conflicted or simply tired and my mind refuses to focus. I'm going to take that as a sign that it's time to let go of having lists and planning and plotting. I don't need have an overall theme on which each new post will be based or even the tiniest idea of what I want to say or what I want to focus on. I just have to be in the moment, in this very important moment, and let what wants to come out come out. Maybe it will be stream of consciousness writing, or maybe it will be well thought out and plotted stories but whatever it is, whatever each will be, I'm just so happy to let life inspire me to simply write. Simply write. Simply perfect!

    1. Thank you so much, Ramona, it's been going well for this week's writing and oddly freeing not to worry about what the topic will be and somehow something always comes up. I'm looking forward to the next 3 weeks. I hope you're enjoying your writing and having a fabulous week!

  5. So glad to see you here - and you made it! You've pushed past the hardest part - choosing not acquiesce to the idea that you don't have the "right" thing to write about. Indeed, you did! I enjoyed reading your post and related to it in many ways and on many levels.

Please forgive me in advance as I may inadvertently (and sometimes intentionally) find myself bending a few grammatical rules here and there. I think the best part of all is being able to embrace the role of a writer whether through streams of consciousness or simply pencil and paper.

I look forward to reading more of your writing :o)
